Hockley County Sheriff's Office calls for service and activities for Monday, 2/19/18. 
Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 2/19/18.
-County Rd at Delaware Rd, Levelland: Loose Livestock. A deputy on patrol located several loose cattle along the roadway. The cattle were secured.
-800 blk Owl Rd, Smyer: Burglary. A deputy was dispatched to the area related to a burglary report. A residence in the area was entered and property was taken. The incident is under investigation.
-FM 1585 near Gusher Rd, Levelland: Vehicle Crash. Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash in the area. DPS trooper arrived on scene and conducted the crash investigation. Deputies assisted with traffic control as needed.
-400 blk Duke, Anton: Criminal Trespass. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to an individual refusing to leave. The subject was gone prior to arrival of deputies. No offenses have been reported at this time.
Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, and investigative follow-up activities.
Jail population as of Tuesday, 2/20/18 at 0800 hours: 48 in Hockley County, 2 to be processed, 6 out of county.
