DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to a motor vehicle crash on Quakerbridge Rd. The driver of a 2006 Acura, Cuong Nguyen, had struck the rear of another vehicle. During the investigation, it was determined that Nguyen was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Nguyen was processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to Wegmans on the report of a Shoplifting in progress. A suspect description was provided by Wegmans Asset Protection of a male who had concealed several bottles of alcoholic beverages into the backpack he was carrying. Prior to patrol arriving, the suspect left the scene in a burgundy colored Honda pickup truck. Ptl. Heath observed the vehicle and initiated a motor vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle, Jermaine Robinson, was determined to be a “Wanted” person out of Bucks County, PA. The initial suspect, Barrett M. Green, was seated in the rear passenger seat. He was found in possession of the stolen bottles of alcohol valued at $224.22. Robinson and Green were processed at WWPD Headquarters. Robinson was released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court. Green was transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center to await extradition proceedings.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to the parking lot of the MarketFair mall on the report of a suspicious male who was soliciting people for money, and driving a silver Chevrolet with front-end damage. Ptl. Zicha located the vehicle in the parking lot with what appeared to be fresh damage to front-end. During the investigation, the driver, John Tynan, was found to be while intoxicated. Tynan was processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Patrol units responded to Wegmans for the Theft of a wallet. Prior to police arrival, the suspects left the store in a grey Nissan Altima with a Florida registration. Ptl. Knox intercepted the vehicle on Quakerbridge Rd. and initiated a stop. The following was determined:  Latisha Rice and Stephanie Moore-Wright had distracted the victim in the produce section of the Wegmans. While Moore-Wright talked to the victim, Rice stole her wallet from her purse. The stolen wallet was recovered from inside the vehicle. Also inside the vehicle was a duffel bag belonging to Kristina Martin which contained credit cards and identification belonging to three different victims. The aforementioned victims had their wallets stolen from different locations in PA. Rice, Moore-Wright, and Martin were processed at WWPD Headquarters. Rice was found to have additional warrants for her arrest so she was transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center. Moore-Wright was released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court, and Martin was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:   Ptl. Robles initiated a stop on a gray 2015 Hyundai sedan for failing to keep right. During the stop, Maurqice Purnell, was found to be in possession of a zip-lock bag containing raw marijuana. Purnell was also driving while suspended, and had outstanding warrants for his arrest from Trenton for $2,500.00 and Hamilton for $350.00. Purnell was processed at WWPD Headquarters. Bail was posted for Purnell on the arrest warrants. Purnell was then released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  On January 10th, Ptl. Silcox was on foot patrol of the MarketFair mall when he was approached by a Barnes and Noble Store Detective who reported the following to Ptl. Silcox: On January 6, 2018, a white male suspect selected and then concealed under his coat two Fujifilm cameras and a Kent LCD E-Writer. The suspect then exited the store without making payment for the merchandise valued at $449.80.
                   On January 15th, the same suspect returned to Barnes & Noble. He concealed a Piper Computer kit valued at $299.95 under his coat.   The suspect became belligerent with store personnel and left in a vehicle prior to police arrival.  Further investigation revealed that the registered owner of the vehicle, William Commauf, was identified as the Shoplifter. Det. J. Jones continued the investigation, and on January 23rd, Commauf was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

Barbet was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at the West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Heath and Ptl. Abade were detailed to the parking lot of Target for a man sleeping in his vehicle with a container of an alcoholic beverage in the center console. Ptl. Heath arrived to find the vehicle running with its lights on, but no one inside. A short time later, Jason Powers, approached the vehicle pushing a shopping cart with Shark vacuum cleaner inside it. While Ptl. Heath spoke with Powers, Target Asset Protection approached and advised Ptl. Abade that Powers had just shoplifted the vacuum cleaner valued at $299.99. Powers was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future court date at the Mercer County Superior Court.
