Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 02/18/18 at 0725 hrs. His Deputies were dispatched to a injury crash on M-51 near Pokagon St. Pokagon Township. Chad Strehlke, 44 yrs old of Decatur Michigan was North bound on M-51 attempting to pass another vehicle. Strehlke lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road. His vehicle then rolled over and hit a tree.


Strehlke was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac by Pride Care Ambulance Service.





Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Pokagon Township Fire Department, Pokagon Tribal Police Department and Pride Care Ambulance
