A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for the City of St. Louis from now through 1 PM 2/17/18. #STLWX

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional wet snow accumulations of up to
one inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Missouri and
south central and southwest Illinois.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Be
prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for wet snow means that periods of
accumulating wet snow will primarily cause travel difficulties.
Roads may rapidly become slippery once the wet snow begins, so
motorists should plan for a slower than normal trip. Be
especially alert when approaching bridges, overpasses, and
curves. In Illinois, call 1-800-452-4368 for road information. In
Missouri, call 1-888-275-6636 for road information.
