On Feb. 12, 2018, during early morning hours, Costa Mesa police responded to the area near Grace Lane and Baker Street regarding a 911 call. Officers arrived shortly thereafter and located an injured 23-year-old male. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later that morning.
This incident is being investigated as a homicide. At this time, nothing further will be released to protect the open and ongoing investigation.
