Several areas in the City of Sheboygan have been identified as high volume traffic accident locations and responsible driving is key to reducing accidents. Please assist the SPD in reducing accidents by practicing responsible driving.

No person while driving a motor vehicle may be engaged or occupied with an activity, other than driving the vehicle that interferes or resonably appears to interfere with the person’s ability to drive the vehicle safely.

You may have heard that it’s illegal in Wisconsin to text while driving, and that is correct! However, you should also know that any activity that interferes with your ability to drive safely is illegal. It can be as simple as talking on your cell phone. Remember to stay focused on the task of driving when behind the wheel. You may just save a life!
