Free training opportunity - Licensee Education On Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD)
Do you own, operate, or work in an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) licensed establishment?
The Central Marin Police Authority is hosting a free Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) seminar on Tuesday, February 13th, from 10am-2pm, at the Central Marin Police Authority, 250 Doherty Drive, Larkspur CA.
The LEAD (Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs) seminar will give you:
- Information on what is acceptable I.D.; the best way to check I.D.; how to refuse service; signs and prevention of illicit drug activity, and more
- The facts about criminal, civil, and ABC liability
- An update on California alcohol laws
- Helpful handouts
Although the curriculum is focused toward those who currently own, operate, or work within an ABC licensed establishment, anyone interested in the laws and regulations pertaining to the consumption and sale of alcohol is welcome to attend!
If you would like to attend, please register at www.abc.ca.gov under the “Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) Program” link. On the day of the training, please bring a copy of your ABC license (if applicable) and plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign in, as the program will begin promptly at 10:00AM.
