Attention Lighthouse Point residents and visitors. Please be advised that the NE 24th St/Lighthouse Drive paving operation will commence TOMORROW beginning at 7:30am. The paving project runs from the area of the Beacon Light Publix/shopping center on NE 24th Street to the traffic circle at NE 27TH Street and NE 23rd Avenue. This will be a large operation with many asphalt trucks, paving machines and tar trucks. They will pave just one lane at a time and control traffic with flaggers. You are HIGHLY ADVISED to avoid the area if at all possible. Please consider using NE 25th St, NE 29th St and/or NE 36th St/Sample Road to access US-1. If you must use NE 24th St expect delays. The marina area is open, but there will be delays while the traffic circle is being paved. DO NOT drive through the tacking tar. This operation is scheduled for one day only.
