Highland Avenue, 1-SB outside lane, closed, 2/7/18, 8am-12 from Deaderick to Orleans, & on 2/8/18 from 6pm-10pm for JEA repairs. 
Scott Chandler, Engineer for the City of Jackson, along with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has authorized the temporary road closure of one-south bound lane (outside lane) of N. Highland Avenue, from W. Deaderick Street to W. Orleans Street, today, Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon). Also, Highland Avenue (same area described above) will be closed on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The road closure is for JEA to install a water valve. Please heed all traffic control. Should scheduling change, you will be notified. For more information on the road closure, please call the Engineering Department at 425-8221.
