Advisory

** Sleet & Ice ** Roads are currently safe for reduced speed travel but uncertain precipitation may change this

** Sleet & Ice **
Roads are currently safe for reduced speed travel as the current Ice and Sleet are not impacting roadways yet.
This may change over the course of the next few hours as we are sitting on the boarder of the rain snow and ice.
Unfortunately, accurate assessments can only be made as local roads change over the next few hours. More serious road conditions will be broadcast if necessary.
Be safe out there! Deep breath and plan on slow conditions.
Chief Garofalo

From NOAA:
 The heaviest snow is expected to start early this morning before mixing with and changing to sleet and freezing rain through the afternoon in the warning area. The timing could cause travel delays for both the morning and evening commute.
 Snow changes to sleet and freezing rain from south to north through this afternoon in the Poconos and far northern NJ.
 For central and southern NJ, southeast PA, and northern portions of the Delmarva: Snow changes quickly to sleet and freezing rain on this morning, then to all rain by midday.
 Temperatures are forecast to rise above freezing this afternoon, especially south and east of I-78 and I-287.
 Temperatures will then fall below freezing tonight after the rain ends. This could result in icy roads across the region Thursday morning, possibly impacting the Thursday morning commute with hazardous driving conditions.
