In anticipation of measurable snow Tuesday night into Wednesday and to clean up side streets from previous snow falls, the City of Garden City has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY EFFECTIVE 6 AM, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7. For the safety of your vehicles and snow removal crews, parked vehicles are prohibited on any City side street until the Snow Emergency has been canceled. A Snow Emergency is automatically in effect whenever 3 or more inches of snow has fallen.
