...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 4 PM EST SUNDAY...
* WHAT...A wintry mix of snow...sleet and freezing rain expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations ranging from a coating up to one-half inch. A glaze of ice accumulation from freezing rain is expected to be less than one- tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...The northern and western suburbs of Washington DC...central Maryland...northern Virginia and portions of eastern West Virginia.
* WHEN...Snow...sleet and freezing rain will overspread the area between 10 AM and Noon. Precipitation will change to all freezing rain by 2 PM before changing to rain by late Sunday afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions from snow and ice. Visibility will be reduced to under 2 miles at times in precipitation and fog.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EASTERN GRANT ... HARDY ... JEFFERSON
