Beginning Monday, February 5th, 2018 The East Side Sewer Relief Project on East Avenue will progress to 6th Street. The intersection of East Avenue and 6th Street will be closed to all traffic for the next several weeks. The duration will depend on the weather.
Residents living north of the 6th Street intersection (500 block) and EMS and buses will need to go north to get in and out. Residents living in the 600 block of East Avenue and EMS and buses will need to go south. 6th Street residents will need to use Middle Avenue only.
There will be no pass through traffic on East Avenue between Sederis Lane and 7th Street. The East Avenue and 5th Street intersection will be opened, but only to the north and to Middle Avenue.
Please drive carefully as there are many obstacles and obstructions along East Avenue in the construction areas.
