NARRATIVE:
An investigation into prostitution at the ABC Spa was initiated in early January. As a result of this on-going investigation numerous arrests have been made in connection with prostitution related offenses.
On January 29th, 2018 members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau executed a criminal search warrant at the spa, arresting two employees and one patron, a 55-year-old male from Avon. In Sook Kim was charged with Promoting Prostitution and Maintaining a House of Prostitution along with engaging in prostitution. Meihua Cui was charged with Promoting Prostitution and Maintaining a House of Prostitution. The patron was charged with engaging in prostitution and all were later released on a criminal summons pending a future court date.
Also during the investigation, a 70-year-old male from Ocean and a 35-year-old male from Long Branch were arrested on 01/16/2018. On 01/17/2018 a 50-year-old male from Ocean and a 46-year-old male from Little Silver were arrested. All were charged with Engaging in Prostitution and released on a criminal summons pending a future court date.
