...Widespread Accumulating Snowfall for Southeastern Michigan Today... ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions, potentially including both the morning and evening commutes. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches...with highest amounts over eastern portions of Metro Detroit to Port Huron.

* WHERE...Sanilac, St. Clair, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times. Cold temperatures in the lower to middle twenties will cause roadways to become quickly snow covered. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
