Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of 1225 N. Highland Avenue.
Today January 28th, at approximately 3:13 p.m. officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of 1225 N. Highland Avenue. In an alley behind 1225 N. Highland, officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshots. The victim who was suffering from serious injuries was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.
Jackson Police believe this was an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing.
