1/24 – 4:05 p.m. – Police investigated a traffic crash which occurred on South Jefferson Street at East Madison Street. A female was travelling behind a tractor-trailer in the first block of South Jefferson, when she attempted to pass the tractor-trailer in a no-passing zone. As she was attempting to pass, the tractor-trailer began to turn east on East Madison, and she struck the front of the other vehicle. There were no injuries. Elizabeth A. Humphries, 58 of Lenzburg, was cited for Disobeying a No-Passing Zone.
