Hit and Run
On January 25th, at approximately 8:35 p.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a Hit and Run collision which involved a pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 45 Bypass and when officers arrived on the scene, it was determined that the pedestrian was deceased.
Officers were able to locate and stop the suspect vehicle and the driver of the vehicle is currently being held for investigation.
The victim in this tragic collision has been identified as Alexander Faust, age 24, of Chester County, TN.
