DETAILS: Sgt. Loretucci investigated a Burglary to a parked vehicle where the following was determined: While the victim’s car was parked in the PF Chang’s restaurant parking lot, unknown actor(s) smashed his front passenger side window, and then stole his backpack that was on the passenger side floorboard. The backpack contained a MacBook computer, an external hard drive and other school-related items.

DETAILS: Ptl. Robles initiated a motor vehicle stop on a 2003 Chevrolet for swerving in and out of its lane, and for having tinted front windows. During the stop, Samuel J. Vaclavicek was found to be in possession of wax folds containing heroin and a hypodermic needle. Vaclavicek was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at the Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Erkoboni responded to Barnes & Noble on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Investigation revealed the following: Alysia Ayoub concealed a journaling bible and a set of colored pencils into a large tote bag she was carrying. She then paid for some other items at the register, but never paid for the items in her tote which were valued at $49.99. She then left the store. Ayoub was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future at the West Windsor Township Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Patrol units responded to US Route 1 and Alexander Rd. on the report of a brown Nissan that was weaving all over the road. Prior to patrols arrival, it was reported that a tire came off of the Nissan. The Nissan continued north until finally coming to a stop at Washington Rd. where the driver got out and stood outside of his car. The driver, Gerald A. Jefferson, was determined to be DWI and arrested. While at WWPD Headquarters, Jefferson was found to be in possession of marijuana cigarettes in his pants pocket. Jefferson was processed and released pending future dates at the West Windsor Township Municipal Court.

DETAILS: A concerned citizen reported that a “Wanted” person was playing on the football field at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. Warrant checks confirmed that Abraham Montalvo had four outstanding warrants for his arrest from Middlesex, Ocean, Somerset, and Passaic Counties for outstanding child support. Patrol units went to the High School and identified Montalvo who was taken into custody and processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center to await transfer to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department.

During the stop, Stephen Walters was found to be in possession of over thrity Oxycodone-Acetaminophen tablets, a Diazepam pill, a zip-lock bag containing under 50 grams of marijuana, three marijuana pipes, and packages of rolling papers. Walters was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates at the Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Abade was detailed to a Shoplifting at the Target store where the following occurred: The suspect entered the store and walked back to the warehouse area at the rear of the building. He selected a Samsung 55” TV valued at $599.99 and dragged it out through the emergency exit and into a dark blue minivan with tan trim. The emergency exit alarm alerted store management who went to check the area. The suspect was attempting to take another TV, but ran out through the emergency exit when the manager approached.
