Advisory

Green Bay Police continue to investigate daytime burglaries

The Green Bay Police Department is continuing to investigate a trend of day time burglaries, on the cities west and east side.

Some locations include the areas of 2600 block of Englewood, Hickory Hill and Ridge Rd, 1700 block of Arnold, and the 300 block of Wilson. It is believed the person(s) involved in these crimes are checking if residents are home, and checking for unlocked doors and windows, as this is where entry is being made. Residents are being asked to report suspicious behavior to police immediately after it occurs.

To protect yourself from being a victim and to deter criminal activity, the Green Bay Police Department encourages you to follow the below Crime Prevention tips
• Residents are being urged to keep their doors and windows locked,
• Be a good Neighbor-keep a watchful eye on all neighbors, especially the elderly
• Watch for suspicious people and take note and report those knocking on doors for illegitimate purposes.
• Please remember to keep records containing serial numbers of valuables, especially firearms located in the residence.

Those with information relating to the person(s) involved in these crimes or other crimes, are urged to contact Green Bay Police at 920-448-3208. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward by contacting Green Bay Area Crime Stoppers by phone at #920-432-7867, through their website at 432stop.com, or by downloading the P3 tip app through Google Play or the App Store."
