On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 3:51 AM, Milpitas Police Officers responded to a report of gunshots on the 100 block of Dixon Road. Upon arrival, officers located a 47 year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, who was identified as Robert Gutierrez, was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
This investigation is ongoing, and the Milpitas Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identity, arrest, and prosecution of persons responsible for the death of Robert Gutierrez.
