Press Release: Subject arrested for possession of a Heroin, Crack Cocaine, and Drug Paraphernalia

NARRATIVE:
On January 22, 2018 at approximately 12:10am Ptl Chris Mirrione was on routine patrol in the Village of Loch Arbour. Ptl Mirrione observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation on Edgemont Drive and subsequently conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ocean Ave in the Borough of Deal.
Further investigation conducted by the officers involved revealed the accused subject to be in possession of controlled dangerous substances suspect crack cocaine and heroin. The accused was also found to be in possession of hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia. The accused was subsequently charged with 2 counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances, 3 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. In accordance with bail reform guidelines the accused was committed to Monmouth County Jail pending a court date.
