NARRATIVE:
On January 17, 2018 at approximately 12:30am, Deal Officers were dispatched to 76 Neptune Ave for a report of a fight in progress involving approximately 50 people. Upon arrival officers were confronted with a large off-campus Monmouth University party with numerous subjects observed fleeing the area. Officers were able to locate two subjects in need of medical attention at which point Deal First Aid was dispatched to the scene. Both subjects ultimately refused medical attention and the party was shut down and all guests were dispersed.
Further investigation revealed that underage persons were consuming alcoholic beverages inside the home. All accused were charged with maintaining a nuisance and serving/making available alcohol to underage persons. The assault, along with several instances of criminal mischief including: broken windows in the home, the mailbox to the residence broken, and 3 vehicles with damage to the side view mirrors remain under investigation. All parties were released on a summons pending a court date.
