Incident: Arrest Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Firearm & Possession of Ammunition

Location of Incident: 5300 Block of San Pablo Ave

Date/Time Occurred: 01/17/18 1144 PM

Incident Case Number: 1801-1375

Suspect: Cameron Gordon, 25, Oakland

Charges: 496(a) PC, Possession of Stolen Property, 25850(a) PC, Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public and 25400(a)(1) PC, Carrying a Loaded Firearm in a Vehicle.

Narrative: An Officer made a traffic enforcement stop at the intersection of 53rd St. and San Pablo Avenue on a vehicle driven by Cameron Gordon. As the Officer contacted Gordon, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, the Officer could smell the odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. While speaking with Gordon, the Officer noticed a Styrofoam cup in the cup holder of the center console. The cup was filled with a green leafy substance that the Officer recognized as Marijuana, which is a violation of 23222(b) V.C.
Further investigation revealed Gordon had in his possession additional Marijuana along with a loaded .22 caliber revolver.
Gordon was arrested for the above charges and transported to Jail for booking.
