January 8th
Robbery – Strong Arm
600 block N Robertson Blvd
01/08/2018 @ 1 am. A man was walking on the sidewalk when another man approached him and demanded his property. The victim complied. The incident was reported one week after it occurred. Loss $1600 (wallet, cell phone, car keys). #00338
 
January 9th
Burglary - Other
9000 block W Sunset Blvd
12/01/2017 – 01/10/2018. An unknown suspect removed a loaded handgun from an unlocked file cabinet. The file cabinet was inside of an unsecured office. No sign of forced entry to the building. Loss $670. #00244

1100 block N Flores Street
01/09/2018 @ 2:40 am – 4:10 am. An unknown suspect removed an IPad, leather jacket, and two pairs of headphones from the bedroom. No sign of forced entry. Loss $1500. #00214

01/09/2018 @ 1 am – 2 am. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed hand bag containing a passport from the rear floorboard. Loss $265. #00194

01/09/2018 @ 9 pm – 6:30 pm. An unknown suspect removed two pairs of reading glasses and $30 in coins from the center console, one pair of sunglasses from the driver’s side door storage area, and two gym bags from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. Loss $750. #00236

01/10/2018 @ 5:50 pm. A man climbed through a broken living room window to gain access and confronted his ex-girlfriend in her bedroom. #00233

7300 block Santa Monica Blvd
01/10/2018 @ 9:30 pm – 7:30 am. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed two jackets and a bottle of alcohol from the trunk and a credit card from the center console. Loss $1100. #00252

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)

01/11/2018 @ 5:45 am. A man picked up a table from the outdoor patio area and threw it at an employee. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #00240

7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
01/11/2018 @ 1600. A women removed clothing items and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect began to struggle in an attempt to escape and armed herself with a pair of scissors from her pocket. The suspect was allowed to leave. Loss $75. #00253
 
January 12th
Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
7400 block Fountain Avenue
01/12/2018 @ 1 pm. A women threw a computer monitor at the victim during an argument. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #00275

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
Palm Avenue / Cynthia Street
01/13/2018 @ 2 am. A male transient used a knife to slash the tires of 12 separate vehicles. The victim confronted the suspect and asked him to stop vandalizing vehicles. The suspect swung at the victim with the knife in his hand but missed. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #00292
