#017 Warrant Arrest 
Officer Carter led a team to the 4200 block of Mowry Ave for a probation search.  One subject fled the area, but was later located by one of our K9s hiding in a storage shed in a neighbor’s backyard.  Two more adults were arrested for outstanding warrants.


#014 Estes Robbery 
Two suspects walked into the Walmart Store on Albrae and stole electronics.  The suspects were confronted by employees outside of the store and the male suspect threatened violence to keep the employees from taking the stolen merchandise.  The suspects fled the area in a blue/green Jeep Grand Cherokee.
S-1 Black male adult, 50-60 years old, wearing a black sweater and black pants.
S-2 White female adult, 50 years old, wearing a black long sleeved shirt and grey sweats.

#022 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
Officers were called to a restaurant in the area of Mowry and Hastings to investigate an employee theft.  Once officers arrive they discover the suspect was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
 
#025 Grand Theft
Officers were called to the cell phone store in the 41000 block of Fremont Blvd to investigate a grand theft.  The store employees reported that three iPhones (8 and 8 plus) were stolen.


#027 Disturbing the Peace
Another Air BNB party was out of hand. Reportedly a 16 yr old female rented a home on the 37100 block of Mission Bl, through Air BNB.  Per the units that responded, there were approximately 250 people in this single family residence.  No arrests were made but it took a long time to clear the home of party goers.

#005 Outside Assist for Fire
Officers were dispatched to a home that "exploded" in the 48400 block of Ursa Dr.  Officer Manrique was the first to arrive on scene and he found the home fully engulfed in flames.  The fire had compromised the gas supply and several smaller explosions occurred.  A large number of officers responded with lights and siren and took up perimeter posts, evacuated several surrounding homes and assisted FFD in a variety of other ways.  As of this writing the Fire Battalion Captain requested a response from detectives and CSI's.

#022 Possession of Methamphetamine Arrest
Neighbors call regarding a condemned house on Detjen St reporting suspicious people at the house in the driveway. Arrested in the driveway working on a car was a 36 year old adult male for possession of methamphetamine. Case handled by Officer Bordy.
 
#024 Residential Burglary
CSO/CSI Allen handled a residential burglary in the 45000 block of Vineyard Ave where the rear slider was kicked in and the loss was light fixtures and new plumbing items. Evidence was collected at the point of entry and sent to the lab.
 
#026 Auto Burglary 
An auto burglary occurred in the parking lot of Old Navy at Pacific Commons,  The suspect smashed the window of a Honda and a bag of clothing items and glovebox paperwork were taken. 
 
#003 Warrant Arrest
Officer Kerner located a wanted subject in a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 4700 block of Mowry Ave.  The male was wanted for a felony domestic violence warrant and it was suspected he possessed a firearm.  The male was found sleeping in the car and arrested without incident.  No firearm was located.

#017 Theft 
Officers responded to a possible estes robbery at the Lucky's store on Mowry Ave where the suspect had fought with loss prevention and was last seen running southbound on Mowry Ave.  A 30 year old male was located by Ofc. Haugh and ultimately arrested for the theft.  

#026 Robbery
A victim was selling an iPhone X on “offer up”.  The suspect contacted the victim and asked to meet in Fremont to conduct the sales transaction.  When the victim handed the suspect the phone, the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim and fled with the phone.  The victim chased the suspect and called the police.  The suspect ran into a store and hid inside the bathroom.  Officers cleared the store and made contact with the suspect.  The suspect surrendered without incident.  Sgt. Sanchez supervised the incident and Ofc.  Calvin and FTO Samayoa conducted the investigation.  An 18 year old adult male was arrested for robbery.


#028 Hit and Run collision with injuries and DUI
Officers responded to a call of an injury collision where one of the drivers ran from the scene.  Officers quickly set up a perimeter.  Officer Kennedy responded with his trailing dog and FFD responded with the UAV.  A suspect description was broadcasted and officers were checking the area.  As officers were setting up a search with the K9 and the UAV, Ofc. Gigliotti detained a possible suspect walking in the area.  An infield with two witnesses was conducted and the detained male was positively identified as the driver.  The 26 year old male had symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.  He was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance and then transported to Santa Rita Jail.  Sgt. Zambonin supervised the investigation. Case investigated by the traffic unit.  

#001 Verified Alarm and Commercial Burglary
Officers responded to a verified alarm at the CVS store in Driscoll involving a male who pried open a rear roll-up door and was seen via video surveillance inside the store.  Security updated that they did not see the subject leave while watching the video.  Response was quick and a perimeter was established within 3 minutes of the call.  A detailed search of the interior was conducted and during that search, security updated again that there is one fire exit door that is not covered by video.  No one was located inside.  The subject was described as a Hispanic male in his 30’s, 5'08", average build with a beard, wearing a black shirt, tan pants and black shoes.  Loss reported is prescription meds.  Investigated by Officer De Stefano.
