Hard Freeze Warning until 12:00PM Wednesday

...Another Airmass on the Way ... .Another frigid Arctic airmass is already working south through the Plains and is expected to arrive tomorrow. The strong cold front will be on the doorstep just before sunrise and should push into the Gulf by early afternoon. Once the cold front moves through look for rapidly cooling temperatures with locations across southwest Mississippi below freezing before midday tomorrow. ...HARD FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM TUESDAY TO NOON CST WEDNESDAY... The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Hard Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 6 PM Tuesday to noon CST Wednesday.

* TEMPERATURE...Lows will fall into the mid teens to lower 20s along and north of the I-10/12 corridor. South of I-10 lows will range from 20 to 25.

* DURATION...Freezing conditions will likely last for 18 to 24 hours over much of the warned area.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ASCENSION ... ASSUMPTION ... EAST BATON ROUGE ... EAST FELICIANA ... IBERVILLE ... LIVINGSTON ... NORTHERN TANGIPAHOA ... ORLEANS ... POINTE COUPEE ... SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA ... ST.
