Incident: Suspicious Activity
Location of Incident: Home Depot Parking lot, 3838 Hollis St. Emeryville, CA
Date/Time Occurred: Incident Case Number: January 12, 2018, 8:35 PM, 1801-0977
Narrative: Police responded to the Home Depot parking lot. Home Depot Security reported the subjects possibly preparing to commit a theft at the store. The suspicious subjects were inside a green mid-90’s Chevrolet. Officers arrived on scene and located the Chevrolet parked in the lot. The Chevrolet contained two subjects hiding on the floorboard. While conducting the investigation, officers saw brass knuckles in plain view. Officers attempted to detain the subjects for the weapons violation. The driver and passenger refused to get out of the Chevrolet and the driver tried to start the car. Officers broke the Chevrolet windows in attempted to stop the suspects from escaping. The driver started the car and rammed two police cars, pushing them out of the way. The suspects escaped the scene in the Chevrolet. The officers were not injured and no arrests have been made.
