HCSO partners with Harris County Tax Office and Houston Justice to help jail inmates register to vote through Project Orange Initiative 
What: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office will announce a partnership with the Harris County Tax Office and Houston Justice to help incarcerated citizens register to vote. The Project Orange initiative is believed to be the most ambitious effort ever undertaken to register inmates of the Harris County Jail (population: 7,900) to vote.
