SUMMARY: On Sunday, Janary 7, 2017, at approximately 3:11 pm, deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of 9th Street and Lankershim Avenue. Through investigation, deputies determined that Raul Bernal was traveling eastbound on 9th Street at a very high rate of speed in a silver 2013 Lexus sedan.
