...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 1 PM EST
MONDAY...
* WHAT...Freezing rain or drizzle expected. The ice will result
in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges.
Total ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
* WHERE...The northern and central mountains in western North
Carolina.
* WHEN...From 7 AM to 1 PM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel
conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday. The
freezing rain will change over to all rain during the
afternoon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving.
