Stay off the frozen bay! 
Even though the bay and even ocean waters may appear frozen, please be advised that the ice is not stable and walking on it is NOT safe. The ice can and will separate or you may fall through a thin spot. There is a very real danger of falling in to freezing water which will lead to hypothermia and possibly worse. The risk is not worth it.
