St. John’s Fools of Misrule will march through downtown Cov. this evening. Intermittent road closures will occur. 
The St. John’s Fools of Misrule, a 12th Night Marching Krewe will announce the beginning of Mardi Gras with their annual March through the streets of downtown Covington. The March will start at the Tap Room on Columbia St. at 6:00pm. The Krewe will parade to the Trailhead where they will pick their King for 2018. After a brief ceremony the Krewe will parade down New Hampshire towards the rear of the Boston Pub, Busters and Wharton’s. From there they travel back up Columbia St. towards the Tap Room visiting more establishments along the way. Please expect intermittent road closures of Lockwood St., New Hampshire St, Boston St. and Columbia St. during the event.
