On 01/05/18 Fairfield PD officers were dispatched to the area of the 5000 Block of Lockie Lane for the report of blood on a residents porch and on the sidewalk.
Officers responded to the scene and located a blood trail on Lockie Lane, Joseph Greaves, Falati Lane, and in the area of Gary Falati Park. There was also blood on several of the neighborhood porches.
A dog with an injury to his mouth was located by Officers and was found to be the source of the blood. Residents doorbell cameras were able to confirm the blood had come from the dog. The dog was taken to the Human Animal Services and then was taken to a local Veterinarian for treatment.
