The Emergency management coordinator Director Yates has declared a limited state of emergency. He is requesting all non-essential vehicles stay off the road so police, fire, EMS and public works personnel can effectively do their job and minimize the risk to the public.
Conditions continue to deteriorate. Visibility is under 50ft. West Windsor has activated its emergency operations center. The Chief of Police & Director of Emergency Services are in constant contact with the Mayor & Business Administrator to insure all critical services are operational.
In the event of power outages or other critical events, additional instructions will be relayed utilizing our social media, reverse 911 and media.
We are also aware of widespread temp power outages that come back on within minutes. Nothing can be done until power is lost for an extensive period and the power loss can be pinpointed.

**** 1/4/18 Garbage Collection Notice ****
As of 10:50am Waste Management has pulled all trucks off the road. Trash collection will resume tomorrow (1/5/18) at 7am.
If Waste Management has not already collected trash on your block, they will be picking up where they left off tomorrow (1/5/18). Please keep in mind that it may
take them through Saturday to make up for lost time. Please have your trash out
by 6am to assure it is not missed. Waste Management will not be able to collect
