12/29 - 11:30 p.m. - Police stopped a vehicle in the first block of South Jefferson Street, due to a broken headlight and extensive front-end damage to the vehicle. During the stop it was learned the vehicle was a suspect in a hit and run traffic crash, that occurred on State Route 163 & Eiler Road. Lindy M. Organ, 25 of O'Fallon, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol & Improper Lighting. She was also issued multiple citations by the Illinois State Police, for the traffic crash.
