Several closures along Stacy Road will begin on Friday, January 5, in anticipation of the paving beginning Monday, January 8 at 8 a.m. on the Allen-side of Stacy Road, starting at the Highway 5 intersection, moving east to Lost Creek.
 
The Firestone driveway on Stacy Road, the Allen Water Department driveway and Houston Drive will all be closed. These closures will allow the steel to be placed for continuous paving through this area. The affected driveways at Firestone and Allen Water Department will have access through the Walgreens parking lot at Highway 5; Houston Drive will be detoured through the neighborhood to Allen Heights or back to Highway 5. Detour signage will be in place prior to closure. Allen Heights will be closed on one side with both north- and south-bound traffic traveling on one-side to allow for paving of half of the intersection prior to switching and paving the other half.
 
There will be no closures on the Fairview-side of Stacy Road. Be aware there will be increased truck traffic in the area for concrete hauling from plant. Thanks in advance for your patience and cooperation in this effort.
