ROBERT LEO BIGGS HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE DECEMBER 27, 2016

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

Robert Leo Biggs, known to friends and family as “Bob” and “Bobby”, has been missing since December 27, 2016. Biggs was last seen on Main Street in Chimney Rock Village. He was driving a burgundy, 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon.

Biggs is a 50 year old white male, who is 5’8” tall. He has short grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a burgundy sweatshirt, and a baseball cap. Biggs also has a tattoo on his left leg of a dive helmet.

Over the last year, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office has followed up on several leads and organized searches in the hope of determining the whereabouts of Biggs. Despite these efforts, investigators have not been able to locate Robert Leo Biggs.

Mr. Biggs is a United States Navy Veteran, skilled outdoorsman, son, and father. The investigation regarding his disappearance remains active with the hope of reuniting him with his family.
