Snow Emergency

The purpose of this message is to notify you that due to the forecast (see below) of a Winter Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service, the City of Haverhill has declared a Snow Emergency beginning tomorrow, Thursday, January 4th at 8:00 am and will last Friday, January 5 at noon time.

A Snow Emergency declaration means no parking on any of the following streets during the snow emergency.

Ø  Emerson Street

Ø  Essex Street

Ø  Main Street, from Merrimack Street to Monument Square

Ø  Merrimack Street

Ø  River Street, from the Comeau Bridge to View Street

Ø  Washington Street, from Washington Square to the Comeau Bridge

Ø  Water Street, from Main Street to Mill Street

Ø  White Street

Ø  Winter Street

Vehicles remaining on these streets during the snow emergency will be ticketed and towed by the Haverhill Police Department.
