9:45pm Update - It is still extremely slick across the county. Interstate 26 westbound is closed at Upward Road and US 176 is closed inside the city limits of Hendersonville at this time. There have been numerous accidents all around Henderson County. We are continuing to urge people to stay home.

We are continuing to see auto accidents occurring across the county (I-26/Fletcher/Mills River/Mountain Home/Fruitland/Edneyville/Horseshoe/Flat Rock/Brookside Camp & Howard Gap) - please limit travel and stay home!

Please use caution when traveling. Some icy road conditions are being reported in Henderson County in the Fletcher & Gerton areas. We are under a winter weather watch until 10pm (*now extended until 10am 1/1/18) with wintry mix and slippery roads a possibility.
