Pollini investigated a Burglary and Theft from a motor vehicle in which the following was reported: The Victim parked his car in the parking lot of the Windsor Plaza to pick up pizza from AlJon’s. When he returned to his vehicle, his backpack which had been on the front passenger seat had been stolen. There was no damage to the vehicle, so presumably it had been left unlocked.

DETAILS: Ptl. Erkoboni initiated a motor vehicle stop on a 2010 Toyota Prius for failing to keep right on Old Trenton Rd. During the stop, Michael Lirette was found to be in possession of a marijuana (THC) infused lollipop, and a male juvenile passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of marijuana-laced cookies. Both were processed at WWPD Headquarters. Lirette was released pending a future date at the West Windsor Municipal Court. The Juvenile was released with the permission of his mother pending a future date at Superior Court-Mercer County, Family Part.

During that time, someone stole her wallet out of her purse, and then used her credit cards to make over $2,800.00 in purchases at nearby stores in the Nassau Park retail center.

When the Victim went back to her shopping cart, someone had stolen her purse which contained her wallet, credit cards, and identification.

Investigation determined that someone had smashed out the passenger side front window of the Victim’s vehicle and then stole her purse which was on the front passenger seat underneath a jacket she used to hide it. Among the items in her purse was an iPhone 6S and MacBook Pro laptop computer.
