First Night North - Road Closure: Dec 31st 4:30pm to 12:30am - Main St between Maple St and Western Ave 
Due to First Night North activities, St. Johnsbury Police will be closing Main Street between Maple Street and Western Avenue to allow festivities and safe conditions for pedestrians. The road is expected to be closed on December 31st at approximately 4:30pm and reopened at approximately 12:30am. Motorists should avoid the area.

For festival-goers, please remember to dress appropriately for the weather. The forecast calls for a low temperature of around -20F, and there is a Wind Chill Warning in effect.
There will be an RCT shuttle running in 15 minute loops, with the route being: Cherry Street, to Eastern Avenue, to Main Street, to the St. Johnsbury School, back to Main Street, then to Maple Street and back to Cherry Street.
If any changes occur to the road closure, updates will be sent out.
