On December 29th at 8:25 pm a Fairfield Police officer in the area of N. Texas St and Cement Hill Rd was contacted by a citizen who was reporting that a man had been shot in the 2700 block of N. Texas St.  Officers responded to the area and located a 46-year-old male victim who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
