Snowmobile accident Cass County 
Two injured in snowmobile accident
Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 12/27/2017 at 2017 hours his office was called to investigate a snowmobile crash that occurred on M-217 north of Wayne St. in Porter Township, Cass County Michigan. 42 year old Union resident, Eric Black, was North bound in a field east of M-217 when he lost control of his sled. Mr. Black was thrown off his sled and had possible injuries to his leg. His passenger, 18 year old Kyia Black, also had possible injuries to her wrist. Both were transported to Elkhart General Hospital. Intoxicants were not a factor.
Assisting at this accident was the Porter Fire Department and Porter Ambulance.
