The Carlstadt Police is seeking those persons who had their vehicles burglarized on November 16, 2017 that were parked in the areas of Washington Street, Jefferson Street, Summit Avenue or Fritch Avenue in Carlstadt. Two people where arrested by CPD on November 16th who were captured on video checking for unlocked vehicle doors in these areas and were found in possession of items believed to have been taken from one or more parked vehicles. These items included U.S. coins that were encased in cardboard display casings having year, type and price information handwritten upon the casings. Avid coin collectors usually possess these types of coins.
