Minnehaha County administrative offices will be closed all day 12/24/2009 due to severe inclement weather. 
Due to the forecast of a major winter storm expected to move into the Sioux Falls area this week, Minnehaha County administrative offices will be closed all day on Thursday, December 24, 2009, as well as Christmas Day, December 25, 2009.
Minnehaha County offices were originally scheduled to be open on December 24, 2009 from 8a.m. to Noon.
The Minnehaha County Commission voted to take this action because of the severity of the expected storm and the dangerous travel conditions it is likely to produce. People needing to conduct business with the County are urged to do so by Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2009.
