12/15 - 7:54 a.m. - Millstadt Police investigated an incident, in which a 12 year-old child, who was crossing the road on his way to school, was struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred in the 300 block of North Jefferson Street, in front of the Cozy Acres Mobile Home Park. A witness said the child, who was not in a crosswalk, ran across the busy road, and the driver was unable to stop. The child was transported, via Millstadt EMS, to a local hospital, with non- incapacitating injuries. The driver, a 70 year-old female, was uninjured in the incident. No charges were issued.
