0927 Hours: Officer Rivera investigated a vehicle vandalism incident at World Pantry, 8620 Thornton Avenue.

1107 Hours: Officer Rivas investigated an auto burglary at Starbucks, 5741 Stevenson Boulevard. The loss was a laptop computer.

1337 Hours: Officer Mapes investigated a stolen Blue 1991 Honda Accord (CA License #4BVX854) at Home Depot, 5401 Thornton Avenue.

1715 Hours: Officer Pacheco contacted and arrested a 35-year-old Newman male for driving under the influence on the 7500 block of Thornton Avenue. The suspect was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.

2141 Hours: Officer Geser investigated an auto burglary at Harumi Sushi, 5790 Jarvis Avenue. The loss was personal property.

2204 Hours: Officer D. Johnson and Field Training Officer Norvell investigated an auto burglary at Ace King, 6062 Mowry Avenue. The loss was a backpack with an iPad.

0356 Hours: Officer Johnson and Field Training Officer Norvell investigated an auto burglary at 85 Degree Bakery, 35201 Newark Boulevard. The loss was a passport, tablet computer and a Social Security card.
