Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 12/13/17 at 1439 hours his office was called to a crash that occurred on Peavine St, near Indian Lake Rd, in Pokagon Township, Cass County Michigan. 20 yr old Dowagiac resident, Danelis De-Los-Santos was East bound when she lost control of her vehicle, running off the road and into a utility pole. She and her 1 yr old son were transported to Borgess Hospital for evaluation and treatment by ambulance. Seat belts and car seat were used and alcohol is not a factor. This Case remains under investigation.
