Parked vehicles must be off the streets or be ticketed
DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn has declared a snow emergency effective at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017.
As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, all parked vehicles must be removed from Dearborn streets to allow for safe and efficient snowplowing. Parked vehicles will be ticketed. Tickets are $80.
Outdoor warning sirens will sound at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 announcing the snow emergency. Sirens may sound again at 10 p.m. Wednesday and again on Thursday morning as a reminder that parked vehicles must be off the streets. The snow emergency remains in effect until further notice.
Parked cars should be kept off the street, even if they have been plowed once, until the snow emergency is over.
